Pharmacy on Duty in Larnaca: How to Find an Open Pharmacy Tonight
07 Nov 2026
On-call and late-night pharmacies in Larnaca: live duty lists to cross-check, how the rota and half-days work, and tips if you have just landed at the airport.
Live Larnaca duty pharmacies: compare sources
Open two lists for the same night and compare them. When they disagree, call the pharmacy before you drive.

If a site is down or slow, use the Cyprus-wide night roster and pick Larnaca:

Larnaca has fewer pharmacies on duty each night than Nicosia or Limassol, often only a handful for the whole district, from the town centre and Mackenzie to Oroklini, Aradippou and the villages. With so few open, checking before you drive saves a wasted trip.
How the duty rota works in Larnaca
Most pharmacies close in the early evening. A small group then stays open on a rota that changes every day, usually until late evening, and one or two may cover the night. The rota follows the date, not your neighbourhood.
Google Maps opening hours for pharmacies in Cyprus are often wrong after hours, so use the live lists above instead of a map pin.
Wednesday and Saturday afternoons
On Wednesdays and Saturdays most pharmacies close at lunchtime and the duty pharmacies start in the afternoon. Check the list on those days even if it is still daylight.
Just landed at Larnaca airport?
If you arrive in the evening and need something from a pharmacy, check the duty list before you leave the airport: the nearest open pharmacy may be in town or in a village on your way, and it is easier to plan the route then than to drive around looking for one.
Before you drive
- Call first. The number is on the duty list.
- Check the address. The district list includes the villages, which can be a long drive from the town centre.
- Bring your ID if you are collecting a GESY prescription.
When it is more than a pharmacy trip
Chest pain, trouble breathing, sudden weakness or confusion, heavy bleeding or a very unwell child need emergency care: call 112 or go to the A&E of Larnaca General Hospital or a private hospital with an emergency department. See which A&E to go to in Larnaca.
For problems that can wait until the morning, a personal doctor under GESY is the usual first stop: personal doctors in Larnaca, or paediatricians in Larnaca for children.
