How to find a professional, book online and manage your appointment on DocCy. Can’t find your answer? We reply to every message.
Finding a professional
Is DocCy free for patients?
Yes. Searching, opening profiles and asking for an appointment cost nothing, and you don’t need an account. What you pay for a visit is between you and the professional or clinic.
Who is on DocCy?
About 6,900 professionals across Cyprus, in every district, and more as professionals join DocCy. Search by specialty or name, and by town or district.
How do I know if a professional accepts GeSY?
Look for the GeSY logo next to the name, on the search results and on the profile. Check with the clinic what your visit will cost under GeSY before you go.
How do I find someone near me?
Search for a specialty or name, then choose Sort › Near me and allow your location. The closest professionals come first, and each result shows how far away it is.
How are the results ordered?
By default, results are sorted by Recommended. Professionals you can book online through DocCy come first, because you can choose a time and request it straight away. Online booking is part of a paid plan for professionals; no one can pay to appear higher in any other way. Next come other professionals on DocCy, then those who aren’t on DocCy yet, with the ones patients have asked about most shown first. Want the closest professionals instead? Choose Sort › Near me.
How do I call a clinic?
Tap Show phone on a search result, a profile or a clinic page.
Why can’t I book some professionals online?
Online booking needs the professional to join DocCy. Until then you can call the clinic with Show phone, or tap Request online booking: the number of requests shows on the professional’s page, so they know patients want it.
Booking online
How does booking online work?
Choose a clinic and a free time on the professional’s profile, then give your name, email and phone. We email you a link to confirm the request: it works for 30 minutes. The professional then accepts it, or suggests other times for you to choose from.
Is my appointment confirmed straight away?
Not yet. Until the professional accepts it, it is a request. You get an email when it is confirmed, with buttons to add it to your calendar.
The professional suggested other times. What now?
Open the email and pick the time that suits you, or decline if none does.
I didn’t get the email to confirm my request
Check your spam or promotions folder. The link works for 30 minutes; after that, choose the time again and send a new request.
Can I send more than one request?
One request at a time with each professional: once they answer, you can send another. Requests to other professionals are fine.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything works from the links in your emails.
Your appointment
How do I cancel?
Use the cancel link in your confirmation email. Too close to the visit to cancel online? Call the clinic.
Can I change the time of a confirmed appointment?
Not online. Cancel it and book a new time, or call the clinic.
The professional declined or cancelled. What now?
We email you. Choose another time on their profile, or another professional.
How far ahead can I book?
The free times on a profile are the ones you can book. Each professional decides how far ahead their agenda opens and how much notice they need.
Who sees my details?
Only the professional you book with, to manage your appointment. Read more in our Privacy notice.
Reviews
Who can leave a review?
Only a patient who booked through DocCy and went to the visit. The day after the visit we email you a link to rate it. A booking that was cancelled, or where you didn’t turn up, gets no link.
How do I leave a review?
Open the link in the email, choose a rating and, if you like, write a few words. The link works for 30 days, and you can review each visit once.
Are the reviews real?
Every review comes from a visit booked on DocCy, so nobody can review a professional they haven’t seen. The DocCy team reads each one before it appears.
What do other people see?
Your first name and the first letter of your surname, your rating, your words and the date. Never your full name, email or phone.
Why does a profile show no rating?
The rating appears once a professional has at least three reviews, so one or two visits don’t decide the score. Professionals who can’t be booked online on DocCy have no reviews yet.
